This year the league has attracted twenty Primary School Teams, with teams playing in five leagues
on a home and away basis between the months of February and May. Although there will be no actual winners or losers of
the tournament (as laid down in conjunction with non-competitive rules) the Primary Schools have again benefited by
way of ï¿½0 of sports equipment donated to them by the G.M.S.T. on behalf of Trust members.
The Trusts Community Officer, Danny Goodwin, recently visited Lisa and Valerie of the Active
Primary Schools Project at Larkfield Primary School. Danny was able to hand over 20 match-size football and 40 Morton
crest type footballs as well as 200 pairs of shin-guards for distribution to all the schools and to their respective
The Trust hope to continue in this vein in the years to come, and, if you are not already a
member of the Trust, we can assure you that a tenner a year goes a long, long way to help such worthwhile schemes.
