GMST Supports Community Football

The Supporters Trust recently continued it's association with Ardgowan Football Development (AFD) with sponsorship of the new strips for the Ardgowan Thistle Football Club. (ATFC).

The boys are absolutely delighted

Those were the words of Elizabeth Canning of Gourock AYC after the Gourock AYC under-15s team were presented with their new football strips, courtesy of the Greenock Morton Supporters Trust.

Poster Exhibition

Following the success of the Trusts Primary School poster competition, we decided that the quality of the entries was so high that they deserved to be displayed for all to see. So that's what we've done!

Poster Competition Results

In keeping with our policy of promoting Primary Schools football in the local area we recently ran a poster competition to celebrate Mortons 3rd Division title success.

To mark the start of the new school term, GMST are running a Greenock Morton poster competition which is open to all Inverclyde Primary Schools.

The Greenock Morton Supporters' Trust is pleased to announce it's continued involvement with the Inverclyde Primary Schools Friendly Football League.

Ardgowan Football Development visit Cappielow

Following the sponsorship of 75 rainjackets for the players and coaches of the Wemyss Bay based Ardgowan Football Development Group, it was arranged for the AFD members to come along to Cappielow for a 'behind the scenes' tour and introduction to Greenock Morton Football Club.

GMST recently had a meeting with the Ardgowan Football Development Club based in Wemyss Bay. The purpose of the meeting was to explore ways in which the Trust could support the development of football in the Wemyss Bay area.
